Stephanie has painted on silk for over ten years. Qualified as a teacher in Adult Education she has taught courses and workshops in silk painting for adult education centres. Teaching allows her to inspire and encourage others to share her passion.
Stephanie likes to express herself with delicate floral designs and is now in the process of combining some of her work with wool in the form of nuno felting.
Having a business ‘Fields Apart’ and teaching workshops for adult education centres, in traditional dry stone walling, Stephanie brings art to walling in the form of mosaics as well as endorsing true traditional dry stone walling. Due to the success of ‘Fields Apart’ it has encouraged her to set up a second business ‘Silken Fleece’ which offers handcrafted pure silk and wool accessories, all unique and not to be repeated.
