Linda Moore - Biography

Linda is currently developing a portfolio of large digital panoramic photographs of Cumbria, the images being metaphors for the balance of life.

Based on the concept of modern society suppressing our natural intuitive response, being expected to 'evolve to fit', people are drawn to Cumbria to reflect on the essence of their existence, by looking for personal (psychological) space.

These panoramic photos can also be customised with your affirmations, poems or words for a presentation.

Linda also creates photomontage composites: Personal photomontages can be commissioned from your own imagery, such as a portrait celebrating a life.

See havenartphoto.com for further information.

By photographing their special places in Cumbria to order, she can help ex-patriots' who are not lucky enough to get home to Cumbria, by rekindling their memories. Linda's images can be rolled and posted anywhere in the world!

With the future trend in outdoor living, these panoramas are even evolving into large, high quality outdoor images.

Linda's 2:1 Honours degree in fine art at the currently named Cumbria Institute of the Arts was interdisciplinary, but she specialised in printmaking. Following a part time foundation fine art course from 1989-91 in Carlisle whilst her children were at primary, she continued at the print workshops until her degree began, when her children went to secondary school.

After completing a teacher training course for adults, and with the research from her dissertation on the psychology of colour, she has plans for the future in creative therapy: but for the moment you can find her photographs at the Cumbrian agricultural shows in the Made in Cumbria tents.
