About blue tarn

who we are:
blue tarn are a group of over 20 artists whose practices are diverse and invigorating.

Their media include graphite drawings, oil and watercolour, photography, mixed media, printing, felting, tufted textiles and ceramics.

what we do:
blue tarn organise an ongoing programme of group and solo exhibitions, and individual members run their own businesses, offer professional services and work to commission.

blue tarn attend fairs and trade shows, work collaboratively on public commissions and provide continuous support in developing their professional art practice.

history:
blue tarn was developed through the award winning Rural Women’s Network, part of Voluntary Action Cumbria, to provide support and networking for women artists in the county - for collaborative working, professional development and meeting with others who often work in isolation.
